Health and Hope Initiative Foundation

We envision a Ghana where all women and beneficiaries are empowered through education and vocational training.

She Wins Initiative Foundation (formerly known as Health and Hope Initiative Foundation) was officially incorporated on May 29, 2019, in Kwatire, Ghana. One of the main challenges facing this community is adolescent girls dropping out of school due to peer influence and pregnancy. Many pregnant adolescent girls are denied their education because of discriminatory policies and practices. Just like the boys in Kwatire, these girls are the future leaders of the community, and if they are not given the necessary guidance and assistance, the community and future generations will suffer for it.

Our accomplishments: 21 volunteers, 13 beneficiaries in 5 schools and 7 beneficiaries at 4 vocational training centers, $22,928 raised to date

FROM THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR

Hello, welcome to our SheWins website! We are very excited for your interest in our unique organization. I say unique because HHIF is one of the few nonprofits with a vision of helping our beneficiaries until they can attain economic independence and are able to help themselves and give back to their communities. I hope you get the chance to visit all the pages on this website because we have a lot of important and interesting stories to share with you!

Just remember, when you donate to this organization, your contribution goes towards reducing the rate  of out-of-school and/or teenage pregnancies among young women and adolescents aged 12-25 years within  the beneficiary communities by empowering them through education, mentoring programs, career  guidance, and vocational skills training. Your contributions will also fund counseling sessions to inspire a change in mentality and attitude.

Once again, welcome and we hope you will decide to join the many donors who are always helping to  make the dream of these beneficiaries come true! Enjoy our website!
