Nana Adjoa S. Coleman

Nana Adjoa S. Coleman

Executive Director & Founder

The ability and opportunity to positively affect the lives of the beneficiaries of SheWins Initiative Foundation is a lifelong goal for me. Professionally, I am a CPA and work as a Senior Auditor for a public company in the United States of America. I owe who I am today to my hard work but most importantly, the people that God put in my way to help me in every stage of my life. It is in this light that I like to become a beacon of hope to others by empowering young women to believe in themselves and work hard to achieve their goals. In the long term, my goal is to be able to work with the Board and team members of SheWins to be able to extend our services to all 16 regions in Ghana.

Papa Kwegyir-Aggrey

Director, Administrative & Legal

In the long term, SheWins Initiative Foundation would contribute to a large extent in bridging the wide gap regarding the respective economic capacities of men and women. I started working at Obeng-Sakyi, Sogbodjor & Co in October 2016. I previously worked at Stanbic Bank Ghana Limited (Legal Department) as a National Service Person from November 2013 - August 2014.

As the Director of Health Education and Research, I am passionate about developing projects that meet the psychological, reproductive and economic needs of young women in impoverished communities. It is her hope that through SheWins Initiative Foundation, several less-privileged young women get the opportunity to be supported financially as well as through mentorship and trained to acquire vocational skills that would help in their self-development.

I joined the SheWins Initiative Foundation for two reasons: to gain professional experience while contributing to a meaningful cause. Many young girls have lost their pride and dignity due to circumstances they didn't vouch for. As such I see it as a medium of empowering such girls who once upon a time had greater hopes and aspirations of becoming the best in their circle to have that drive back and to set them right on track ones again without reservations and regrets of their past experiences.
