HHIF has officially launched its program for Duakwa and Apam in the Central Region of Ghana

On January 7, 2023, we offically commenced our program in Duakwa and Apam. As we always point out, getting the support of leaders and members in the communitites we serve is essential to the success of our program. It was, therefore, an honor that the launch was graced by the District Chief Executive, staff of social welfare, religious leaders of the community and other leaders of both communites.

A total of 21 beneficiaries were present; 6 from Apam, 14 from Duakwa and 1 from Sunyani.

A special acknowledgment goes out to the beneficiaries from Duakwa who put on a skit to educate the attendees on the mission of HHIF.

During the launch, the beneficiaries who opted for vocational training in dress making received sewing machines to aid in their training.

Overrall, the participation of the communities was very encouraging. They were actively involved in the launch and showed maximum interest in HHIF’s vision for the beneficiaries.

A special thanks goes to all HHIF volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the planning, set-up, financing and running of the program. The following amazing persons were present to oversee the smooth running of the event Solomon Acquah, Felicia Boakye Yiadom, Amiriam Adama Alhassan, Papa Kwegyir-Aggrey, Paa Grant, and Benedict Forson.

We look forward to a wonderful and impactful year!
